My name is Kate Fullmer, licensed master social worker who is being supervised by Nicole Stark, LCSW-S. I began my career in behavioral health in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. I've worked with nonprofits serving children and families, and in outpatient and inpatient substance use, mental health, skilled nursing, and case management. I completed my Master of Social Work in 2021 and began working as a therapist. I work with late teens and adults on self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship struggles, substance use, and narcissistic abuse recovery.
My goal is to build rapport and create a nonjudgmental space to explore your emotions and experiences. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify negative thinking patterns and understand how they impact other areas of life — then I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you always have choice and input.

My go-to approach for treating anxiety is getting my clients to be more comfortable feeling their feelings. Once clients are more comfortable with themselves, they become better at recognizing their triggers and what their bodies need.
