About
As a counselor who has worked significantly with trauma, I understand that people have innate strengths and that there is power in being able to voice our stories and not carry the weight alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 6 years of experience. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who have been impacted by trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I also have experience supporting individuals coping with grief, loss, and traumatic brain injuries. I’m passionate about helping my clients navigate emotional challenges, strengthen their relationships, and discover the resilience within themselves to live fuller, more balanced lives.
I earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Healing takes courage, and I deeply value the strength it takes to begin that journey. My goal is to provide a warm and caring space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. Together, we focus on progress, resilience, and healing in ways that truly matter to them.

At Thriveworks, we offer ADHD therapy, which is an effective treatment for managing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms such as inattention, inability to sit still, and lack of self-control. It can be used as an alternative to ADHD medication or used in tandem.
ADHD therapy works by using behavioral interventions — focusing on helping the individual develop organization skills, improve time management, and work on adaptive behaviors. A range of therapies are effective in helping people manage their ADHD and, sometimes, both individual and family therapy are important, particularly when the individual with ADHD symptoms is a child.
Common symptoms of ADHD include:
ADHD is not a coping mechanism—but is instead affected by both genetics and environmental factors. The skilled therapists at Thriveworks in Bedford, NH know how to treat the unique triggers and stressors that may influence the severity of someone’s ADHD symptoms.
Yes—many individuals with ADHD live successful, ‘normal’ lives. Individuals with ADHD are not abnormal.
Common approaches to ADHD therapy include medication management, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and parent training.
ADHD counseling is conducted both in person and online, depending on the individual’s preferences and their therapist’s availability.
The length of ADHD therapy can differ based on individual requirements and treatment objectives, spanning from a few weeks to several months or extending further, contingent on progress and personal needs.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurological brain disorder that impacts a person’s ability to concentrate, sit still, and control impulses. The exact symptoms of ADHD can vary based on the individual, but the disorder can generally make it difficult to focus, form relationships, stick to deadlines, and think clearly.
While ADHD is a lifelong illness, its impact can be alleviated with therapy, medications, and self-care practices. A therapist, psychiatric provider, or another mental health professional at Thriveworks can help you manage your hyperactivity, attention levels, and impulsiveness. To receive an assessment to determine if you have ADHD and to begin treatment, please call us at Thriveworks in Bedford, NH. Our licensed mental health professionals are standing by to help.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can be broken down into two categories: inattentiveness and hyperactivity.
Inattentiveness may cause adults and children with ADHD to be:
Additionally, you may have difficulties paying attention when spoken to or following through on projects, assignments, or promises. You or your child may also be less likely to notice minor errors. In terms of hyperactivity, you may have trouble sitting still or balancing multiple tasks at once. Other symptoms of hyperactivity include:
Inattentiveness and hyperactivity may present themselves differently in adults and children, and ADHD can be especially frustrating for younger children who may not yet have the vocabulary to vocalize their needs and concerns. They may even lose their temper because they’re unable to successfully express themselves.
A licensed mental health provider will look for a number of different indicators when determining whether or not you have ADHD. These indicators can include:
In addition to questioning you, your provider may ask to interview your friends or family, review your medical history, and perform other kinds of tests. If the results of your assessment indicate that you’re suffering from ADHD, you’ll receive a treatment plan that’s customized to your specific situation.
Online tests for ADHD abound, but these tests are often incomplete and fail to truly assess whether a person has the disorder. To add to this uncertainty, people with adult ADHD often attribute their actions to another illness or disorder because they believe that ADHD only affects children. While symptoms of the disorder typically first appear in childhood, a diagnosis can be given at any time throughout your life. To receive a professional ADHD assessment, book with us at Thriveworks in Bedford, NH.
