About
As a bilingual Puerto Rican veteran and licensed professional counselor, I draw from my diverse life experiences to create a safe, empowering space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience. I specialize in family and child development and clinical mental health counseling. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help clients find clarity, healing, and balance as they move toward living the life they want to create.
I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from South University. I use a collaborative, compassionate approach that integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Together, we identify strengths, process challenges, and build tools for lasting growth and healing.
I believe everyone deserves a safe space to be heard and supported. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and encouragement as you navigate life’s challenges. Healing and growth are possible, and I would be honored to support you on your journey toward balance, clarity, and renewed hope.

My approach is client-driven—I meet clients where they are. It allows the client to feel they are heard and their needs are being met, as well as being able to have accountability for their sessions.
I use:
They're making progress when they have achieved and/or are able to utilize effective coping skills, manage emotions so that they can function in everyday life, and achieve therapy goals.
Clients can implement self-care, journal, meditate, work out, create a support group, join a support group, talk to friends, draw, and listen to music.
List the symptoms you are struggling with, how long this has been going on, any previous instances as well as medications they may be on. This is not a must; just making the appointment is a huge step toward the healing process, and together, we can work on identifying what brought you there and begin to unwrap the layers.
Individual therapy, also known as Individual therapy, allows people to engage in private sessions with a skilled therapist, counselor, or psychologist. The core objective of individual therapy is to establish a secure and confidential setting where you can openly discuss whatever emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges you face. Through these one-on-one sessions, the client and therapist work together to delve into, comprehend, and ultimately find solutions for the issues at hand in their life.
Individual therapy unfolds in a structured process, commencing with an initial assessment in which the therapist gathers essential information about your history, concerns, and objectives. Together, you and your therapist collaboratively establish specific, attainable goals for your sessions, which can encompass symptom alleviation, personal development, or finding solutions to particular challenges.
