My name is Rebecca Nelson and I’m a licensed master social worker. I’ve had the pleasure of working with kids and families for the last thirty years, dealing with a variety of situations and issues.

I think that it is most important and most effective to look at all aspects of a kid’s life — all pieces of the puzzle — because kids don’t live in bubbles.

I use a variety of approaches and techniques, depending on the situation, including elements of play therapy and trauma-focused, cognitive-based therapy.
