She provides extensive psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacological treatment initiation, and monitoring for both acute and chronic mental health problems.In 2016, Kate obtained her Bachelor of Science from Bowie State University. After having some experience at the bedside and seeing the need for mental health professionals, she decided to perused a master's degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Kate started her health care career taking care of clients at their homes and gradually became a registered nurse with 5 years of experience at the bedside.Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Kate worked in a variety of settings including medical, surgical, stroke, dialysis, behavioral units, and case management. Working in multiple settings as a registered nurse helped Kate realize that her passion for the mentally ill will be a great help to society.Kate Pabai has always wanted to be in the health field — since growing up as a child, Kate has always had that empathy for others and desire to help.
