Joseph Garza is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has over 13 years of experience. He enjoys working with clients of all ages, and especially loves when a client is open to change. Joseph has worked with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, ADHD, and many more. He has experience working with couples and families as well.
Joseph completed his Master's degree in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University. He has biblical counseling as a foundation, as well, if needed by his clients. This can add an additional resource and support for his clients, too. Joseph is certified in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and uses this along with exposure therapy to work with clients struggling with anxiety and other disorders.

My go-to approach to family therapy is to speak with all parties together and separately. This approach gives several perspectives to the perceived issue.
Family therapy’s focused skill is communication. This is usually the most common issue—the inability to effectively communicate with others in their family unit.
