About
As a counselor who has worked significantly with trauma, I understand that people have innate strengths and that there is power in being able to voice our stories and not carry the weight alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 6 years of experience. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who have been impacted by trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I also have experience supporting individuals coping with grief, loss, and traumatic brain injuries. I’m passionate about helping my clients navigate emotional challenges, strengthen their relationships, and discover the resilience within themselves to live fuller, more balanced lives.
I earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Healing takes courage, and I deeply value the strength it takes to begin that journey. My goal is to provide a warm and caring space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. Together, we focus on progress, resilience, and healing in ways that truly matter to them.

With Thriveworks, Online therapy is an effective alternative to in-person therapy services in which a client can speak to a Thriveworks therapist remotely via online video conferencing. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person treatment, but they can also provide added benefits like reduced travel time, saving money on transportation or childcare, and increased access to care.
Online therapy works much like traditional in-person therapy but takes place through secure video conferencing. Clients can attend Online therapy from any safe place they choose that has access to the internet, whether that be their home or another easily accessible place. Like in-person treatment, a therapist will work with their client to address their concerns, create goals, and establish an effective treatment plan.
There is no best option for online therapy—instead, it’s best to focus on finding a provider that meets your specific needs and with whom you can form a professional connection with.
Yes, online therapy is just as effetive for many clients as in-person sessions.
Online therapy can last for a few months to years depending on the goals and symptoms of the client. The treatment process will be unique to each client and lend itself to their specific concerns, which means that the time it takes to treat them will always be different. Timing is also up to the client themselves; they are free to stop therapy whenever they please, especially if they feel they have reached their goals and addressed their concerns.
At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. More information on current self-pay costs is available on our pricing page.
How are you really feeling? No matter how we ask this question, you’ll probably respond the same: “Oh, I’m fine.” “I’m good!” “I’m just chugging along.” But these aren’t always how we’re actually feeling and processing our emotions—in fact, these are usually dishonest responses. It’s easier to respond plainly than talk about how we’re feeling deep down.
There is a range of emotions that we move through in any given day or week. The list above reflects just a few examples. Maybe someone cut you off in traffic today and it was just the tipping point of your stress load. Perhaps your partner is waiting to hear back about a physical diagnosis and you’re feeling overwhelmed and anxious.
No matter what you’re going through, it’s okay to have a range of emotions. What’s not okay is ignoring those difficult feelings until they boil over and cause you more emotional turmoil than before. When you’re struggling mentally, it can take many different tolls on your body and mind. Rather than pushing them aside, talk through them with the help of a counselor.

Some people feel nervous about counseling because they don’t know what to expect. And that’s okay. It’s normal to be worried about something unfamiliar. Although, online counseling is easy and our Thriveworks counselors are compassionate and ready to help. Online counseling offers you many benefits that traditional therapy can’t.
Both telephone counseling and video counseling are effective online counseling options. Choosing between the two comes down to personal preference. If you think you would feel more at ease having a live chat face-to-face, video counseling will be a better fit. On the other hand, if you’d prefer to simply have a phone call, telephone counseling is the option for you.
Regardless of which online counseling option you choose, online counseling can help you make important progress in your life. Our licensed mental health professionals at our Bedford office want you to know how honored they would be to help you with your mental health issues in whichever way feels most comfortable for you.
Plus, online counseling’s added benefits include:
The help that we offer will depend on what has brought you to us. For example, if you’re struggling to balance all the different things going on in your life, you might need stress management counseling. Or perhaps your teen has been reserved more than usual lately and could benefit from teen counseling.
