Get to know Jami

1. What is your therapeutic philosophy?

I believe that every individual has an innate capacity for growth. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can identify the barriers holding you back and build a toolkit of practical strategies to help you navigate life's challenges.

. How do you help clients who feel "stuck" in their progress?

"We start by exploring what 'stuck' feels like for you. Often, it's a sign that we need to pivot our approach—perhaps moving from traditional talk therapy to more action-oriented techniques like CBT or mindfulness—to find a new path forward."

4. How do you handle cultural or personal differences with your clients?

"I approach every session with cultural humility and a desire to learn. I recognize that I am not the expert on your lived experience; you are. I strive to create an inclusive environment where your unique background is respected and integrated into our work.

6. What do you do for your own mental wellness?

"I practice what I preach by maintaining a strong work-life balance. For me, that means spending time outdoors, practicing daily meditation, and staying connected with my own support system. This allows me to be fully present and energized for my clients."
