Clients describe me as an empathetic, creative, and highly motivated therapist. My first goal in therapy is to put
clients at ease and find out what they would like to achieve through therapy. A key to success in therapy is
listening to clients and allowing them to unfold at their own pace and comfort level. In my treatment approach, I
am flexible and always use a strength-based approach to encourage a collaboration between my clients and me.
My skills include a strong understanding of theory and a proactive approach to therapy. Additionally, my deep
respect for diverse cultural backgrounds enables me to be responsive to a wide range of client needs, issues,
history and life circumstances. In my practice I use a multitude of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Trauma Informed Care, Mindfulness, Play Therapy and
elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I enjoy working with people throughout the human life span and see clients from 5 to 90 years old.
